YOGA
my boyfriend has gone to johor for TWO weeks! and yea. its been bloody hard you know. 1 week has officially passed and i have survived. not because i was strong, but because my yoga came back on sunday just to see me and then drove back all the way to johor because i missed him so so so much. haiyo.... this is what you call a sweetie la. no joke. he was so nice to come and spend the whole day in the shop with me. hmmmmm...

biology
oh damn the world!
biology is bloody LOOOOOOOOOONG wei! each chapter goes on for at least 50 something pages in a book that looks like an encyclopedia and has a font of 10. i cant take it wei. can you imagine reading 50 something pages of JUST cells?? that's how it is. that's how BAD it is. already biology is my "favourite" subject and i'm trying my best to start liking it. when they dump this much of nonsense on your head, how on earth am i gonna survive?
and my biology lecturer doesnt exactly have the face of tyra banks or julia roberts in which you can be inspired to go on with the subject though its fucking boring. she's in her late 40s and puts on her blusher on her cheeks like miney mouse. seriously wei. its like 2 huge round spots in her cheeks. tengok pun langsung tak de inspiration. ish! what am i to do la?
mcdonald's
today i tried the red bean sundae that i've been dying to taste since last year!! yay!! actually, after class, which finished at 12.30 instead of 1pm, i literally forced shiva to follow me to mcd's so that i can have the ice-cream. although he was supposed to catch the earliest bus that leaves, i made him take the later one so that i'll have company. hehe.
but for the record, the sundae was killer wei. damn nice.
birthday plans
today, on the way back from college to mom's shop, my birthday plans were made. 18th birthday ma.. must do proper planning la.

did i mention the really really nice dress yoga bought for me without me that fits happeningly?? haha. oh my god. the dress was gorgeous and exactly what i wanted wei. it was soooooo nice. and i was bloody shocked with the fitting that looked as if my mom herself bought it wei. eeeeeeee. my baby is such a darling la.
holidays
mahsa has given us 10 days of holidays in conjunction with the federal territory day and chinese new year!!! yay!! isnt it fantastic? but the sad thing is that the holidays end exactly 2 days before my birthday and i'll have to go to college on my birthday because i have maths and chemistry. damn it!

so, due to popular demand, dakshyani the great has finally decided to blog. hopefully i havent lost touch. :)
my boyfriend!!
Yoga and i have been having a blast since the time we beacme official. whoa. from all those days of sitting in the corner of my room and thinking over and over again if liking him is the right thing, i am now jumping around my whole room expressing my joy everytime i think of him.
things have actually worked out!! wooooooohooooooooo!
recently, well, not exactly recently, but last year, when we went for our christmas trip to singapore, he came along! waaaaaah. it was damn nice wei. he was there with me all through out. now, that's what you call a holiday wei. it was bloody chun.
oh yea. and my family (immediate family) knows about the 2 of us and they're completely ok with it. in fact, mom has actually encouraged us. BUT with a condition of studies not getting affected in any which way. so, i guess its safe to say that all good and fine.
i really really wanna thank ma clicks who have all been there with me whenever i was crying like crazy because of all the things that were happening. for consoling me when i was down. for motivating me to go on with it despite all the chaos that was happening.
wong, siewie, pei yi, kok, koo and becca - you guys are the BEST!!
mahsa college
my A-Levels has officiallybegun. it started on the 3rd of Jan actually. it has been a good journey though. really. i was quite surprised how well it has turned out to be. the students there are really nice. although i didnt go in for the orientation that was held on the week before, all the students in my class are so friendly and nice.
we've got 11 students in our class. let me give you a little detail about them.
pavittra - the first person i spoke to in my class. my 1st friend actually.
shivaraj - really nice guy. one of my closest friends. smart.
kevin lim - 17 years old. fuckin smart. class rep. nice.
pooja - bloody quiet. proud type. barely talks. a LOT like someone i wanted to avoid like crazy in form 5.
tan - funny. deep voice. a little reserved.
sofia - damn bubbly.
stephanie - lives and feeds on biology.
wai kit - damn cute. nice hairstyle.
mia - a little bit of the vain type. but boleh tahan la.
sareeza - out going. nice. good conversationalist.
that's it. actually rite. they're all really nice la. and surprisingly, i'm damn friendly in class too. i guess the anti-social dakshy just doesnt wanna show. hehe. anyways, i'm having a blast here la. lecturers are all really good. well english spoken and bloody smart. chun. just that the syllabus is bloody heavy la. seriously. we've got so much to study you know. and my first exams are in november and the second one is in june. though i'm only taking 3 subjects, its 3 fucking TOUGH subjects.
so, dont under-estimate A-Levels students and dont get on their nerves or they might just decide to throw one of their textbooks your way and believe me, you'll NEVER be able to get up again.
driving
yes. i still havent completed my driving course. i just finished my 2nd 6 hours ceramah. and its surprising that i'm still alive after that. pheeew! they tortured teh life out of us you know. they actually made all of us to stand under the sun for 3 motherfucking hours to learn about the car engine and how to change the bloody tyres. do you by any chance think this is gonna be useful to ME? all i have to do when my car breaks down is call up my Yoga or dad to come help me. oh wait. actually, i have SO many people to call and my car can be good to move in less than 10 minutes. i dont have to learn it! which part of that dont they understand?!!
i'll be starting my driving lessons on the road from next week onwards. after my L license comes in.
drivers of malaysia : be prepared. if you ever see dakshy driving, stay clear or your car might not look the way it looked before you got onto it. : )

brenda has offiicially left to australia. i literally tried calling her about a zillion times and i could NEVER get through even once!
her reason was : my battery died la wei.
you know what;s the best part? i actually bought her souvenirs and all to pass it over to her before she's off. ish! wong. you're gonna get it from me la. anyways, hope everything's good for her and hope she studies well there. my best wishes.

all set!
dakshy's all set!!
pre-u course
yesterday, after talking to a big shot guy who practically has 4 titles before his name (or was it 6?), my path has finally beem brightened a little. yeap. he helped explain all the courses (medical and pre-u) which i can actually consider. the best part is that he didnt exactly recommend any obvious places which everybody flock into. so, i was given a whole lotta names and places which have got quite good potential. i was then "enlightened" even more by one of the lecturers of his college too. the lecturer (mr.chan) exaplained a whole lot about most of the pre-u courses that are being conducted in malaysia and recommended the best to me too. he even showed me around the college and all. quite nice of a guy.
the ultimate decision
dakshyani d/o ratha kerisna naido will be doing A-Levels in MAHSA college which will be commencing on january 20th 2008.
reasons behind choice
as explained by the dean of the college (the dude with SO many titles), this college has only started their A-Levels program 2 years ago. so, when i join this year, i will be in their 4th batch. which would mean that they are quite new and all. to add on, they've got a whole lotta experienced lecturers from around the world who have been picked out from well-known colleges who have the hghest potential to produce good students.
oh oh! and the best part....
they only accept at the most 10 students per class! can you imagine?! there'll be like 100% attention on each student. unlike taylors and all which accept close to 60 students per class, here, they only accept about 10 students. in which the lecturers will actually willingly give you extra tuitions and teaching hours for free. i wont even have to go for tuitions outside. wah! damn chun wei. and the fees and all are quite interesting too.
this college also is situated quite near to my mom's place and the highways are happeningly happening, in which i dont have to get stuck in the jam at all. bonus for dakshy, as she's gonna start driving! weeeeeeee!

haiyoooooo.. here comes the sad part. my siewie is stuck in fucking national service! ish! damn irritating wei. pity her you know. they dont have anything proper there you know! no hot water, the place is bloody isolated from the outside world, the people there are all bad shape, no body from our school are there, the food sucks BIG TIME, the insects have moved in with the students in their dorms, the distance to walk to the girls' dorm is bloody far and dark, the hours they have to wake up is ridiculous, and the list goes.

no joke. i'm bloody pissed you know. and pity siewie. she's got her rashes already. her skin is causing havoc. ish. who the hell ever started this fucked up NS nonsense?! who ever that is, is gonna get a slap across the face from me. confirm. and why girls?! do you know that NS in singapore is only for guys? why the hell are girls forced to go for it here in malaysia?! what nonsense la. do you even think even though we've gone for the NS, we'll actually help out the country when there's a dispute or war or whatever? we'll be the first to get out of the country and settle down somewhere far far away. tehn why the NS?!

i have finally registered myself in a driving school in cheras. started studying the undang2 nonsense. exams will be next week. :)
