anywho, i've got a mega achievement today!!
*dakshy does a small time celebration dance*
today, during biology class, we were divided into groups of 2 and i was with the class' smartest guy, tay kim siang a.k.a kim. our on-the-spot assignment was to do a presentation on the nephrons of the kidney, mainly the proximal convoluted tubule, which is the longest part of the chapter. we were the first to present.
so, kim volunteered to draw out the diagram for the selective reabsorption process of the PCT. then, mdm leela, my lecturer, told me to write out an essay on the PCT. and guess what?! i practically wrote a 200-word essay on the spot! without a pause and within about 5 mins only. my lecturer and the entire class were shocked! i didnt even have a book to refer to. it was bloody spontaneous. and i was so proud of myself and so was my lecturer.
looks like the kidney's gonna be my favourite chapter from here on! ;)
below would be a picture of half of the things i wrote. :D

i know i sound like i'm bragging, but this is something i never knew i could do in BIOLOGY! it was one hell of an achievement for me!
yoga's new apartment
yesterday, i went over to yoga's new apartment after college. as soon as i entered the apartment, i noticed one thing.. the walls are the exact same colour as the walls in my room! its a really really sweet yellow. and the rooms are one kind of a funny green. but its still green, so, i LOVE it! anyhow, the apartment is semi-furnished. it comes with airconds, lights and toilet accessories only. but otherwise, the apartment was really really nice. very well kept, not dusty, walls well painted.
when we dropped by too, yoga's room partner, suresh was there. and he was fixing his own 6 feet cupboard bought in ikea, by himself! oh my god! i was shocked! i never knew that there are people actually capable of this, except the carpenters of course. since suresh was struggling a little with the carrying and the fixing of the super duper heavy cupboard, yoga decided to help him.
and what was dakshy doing? well.. absolutely nothing! hehhe. it was so fun watching them work wei. they were constantly getting confused with the manual and turning it towards the wrong direction. hhaha. it was so so fun. and below would be a few pictures of them fixing it. oh yes, and i was taking photographs too. :D
